Moth Control in Camden

Moths go through three stages the egg or larvae, pupae (cocoon) and adult moth. It is the larvae stage which will cause the most damage to fabrics that are a light colour and grow up to around half an inch long. The adult moth has a tan coloured wing. Moths love to attack natural fibres. Adult moths rarely fly to light as you would normally associate with moth species.
Any flying clothes moth you see in is usually male as females tend to just hop around on the floor in dark and uninterrupted locations in search of breeding sites. The period of egg, larvae, pupa and adult emerging can take about six weeks in the right conditions. Moth control treatment is best when the moth is at the egg stage as you will be able to stop the problem before it becomes an infestation.
